Benny Schnaider - Chairman

Benny was Qumranet's CEO and a Co-Founder. The company was acquired by Redhat in 2008. Benny was CEO and Co-Founder of PentaCom Ltd. a provider of networking products which was acquired by Cisco in 2000.

Benny also co-founded and served on the Board of Directors for P-Cube, a developer of IP service control platforms, which was acquired by Cisco in 2004. Over the past 30 years, Benny has held senior management, engineering and strategic roles at many Silicon-Valley based companies including Cisco Systems, Amdahl/Fujitsu, Hitachi, IDT, Sun Microsystems and 3Com.

Benny holds a Masters degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University, and a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from the Technion (Israel Institute of technology).

Ben Volkow-  CEO

 Ben serves as CEO and co-founder of Traffix Systems bringing to the company more than two decades of experience in R&D, business development and management roles in the telecom industry. He holds two signaling patents and is considered a visionary and industry expert in signaling and Diameter protocol. Prior to founding Traffix, Mr. Volkow filled management roles at leading smartphone manufacturers, and Panasonic Mobile Communications delivering the company's first European market products. Throughout his career, Mr. Volkow has worked closely with leading tier-1 operators and vendors. Mr. Volkow earned a degree in computer science from Tel Aviv University and is a frequent lecturer on Diameter signaling.

Gil Shafran - VP R&D


Gil Co- Founder of Traffix Systems brings to Traffix more than 10 years of leading research and development teams in telecom industry, in the areas of mobile networks optimization, telecom protocols and algorithm research. In his last position, he was Director of R&D in Schema responsible for the development of the company’s GSM and UMTS optimization products. Before that Mr. Shafran worked as a team leader in Telrad communications. Mr. Shafran Holds M.Sc in Computer Science from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

Lenny Ridel - CTO

Lenny brings to Traffix more than 15 years experience in architecture, design and development of multidisciplinary systems and algorithms research.
In his last position, he was Algorithms Team Manager in Aternity responsible for development of analytics system for user experience modeling and root cause analysis. Before that he was Messaging Group Manager at IXI Mobile and Software Development Manager at Schema. Mr. Ridel holds B.Sc. in Physics from Ben-Gurion University and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University.

Benjamin Moor - VP  Global Sales

Benjamin brings with him more than 16 years of international telecom sales experience in various organizations such as sales Digital Corporation, RADVISION and SURF Communication.
In these positions Mr. Moor was to positioned in a leading role to build excellent sales and channel organizations and grow sales

Joe Fried - VP North America

Joe leads all of Traffix’s activities in North America, combining extensive experience in marketing, sales, and technology with a focus on the networking industry.   Before coming to Traffix, Mr. Fried was responsible for solution sales to Tier one North American operators at Kabira Technologies, acquired by TIBCO.  Prior to Kabira, he worked for Flash Networks, a wireless technology start-up where he led the North American sales efforts and initiated and closed substantial deals with leading Tier one operators.  Mr. Fried earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University, an M.S. in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Peter Nas - VP Business Development

Peter is responsible for Traffix global business development. 
Prior to joining Traffix, Mr. Nas was at Tekelec focusing on market development for Diameter and SIP routing. In his days before Tekelec, Mr. Nas served as Core Network Engineering Manager at a prominent mobile operator in the Netherlands. He started his career at a fixed operator where he introduced Euro-ISDN as a system engineer. During his tenure, Mr. Nas has experienced all phases of operator expansion, from start-up to a large and successful operator in a highly competitive market. Mr. Nas earned a Master's degree from the University of Eindhoven (The Netherlands) in addition to over 20 years of telecom experience.

Asaf Weisbrot VP Sales EMEA

Asaf Weisbrot leads Traffix sales activities in EMEA. 
He brings to Traffix a deep understanding of the telecom industry, large enterprise business and technologies, having vast experience in customer engagement. Prior to joining Traffix, Mr. Weisbrot worked at Ceedo, a leading desktop virtualization vendor, where led the companys worldwide sales. Prior to Ceedo, he worked for Flash Networks, a leading provider of intelligent mobile Internet solutions, where he was Director of Sales to the Vodafone group. In addition, he held various senior business and R&D positions in several technology companies. Mr. Weisbrot holds a B.Sc. in computer science from the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yafo.

Ido Sharon - Lead Advisor

Ido served as the CTO and head of R&D of Bezeq - the Israeli Telecom Corporation. Mr. Sharon has been with Bezeq for 20 years, serving at various management and R&D positions. He earned his M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Technion (Haifa) and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
